TJ's Push 'N Polka Show

The Push 'N Polka Show is a weekly Polka program airing on WMBS 590 AM in Uniontown, PA featuring TJ and Melanie Salonick. The show has been on since 2000, hosted by TJ since the inception. Mel came on board full time in 2008 and the duo provides a fun and entertaining experience for Polka fans of all ages!

Piwo's 'N Polkas

After riding the AM waves for a while, TJ and Melanie decided to try something a bit different. Looking for a chance to simply "drink beer and play Polkas", Piwo's 'N Polkas was formed through a partnership with Polish New Castle Radio. As you can see by some of the show titles, many may be considered not safe for work but that's what headphones are for! After all, there's a reason each show kicks off with the mantra "Put the children to bed, and turn down Babcia's hearing aid!

Polish Melodies With John & Lynn

John Richnafsky was a part of the polka industry in the area for nearly 60 years playing the accordion with various local polka bands. He was on the air as a polka DJ from 1986 until 2023, between WPQR in Uniontown, WCVI in Connellsville, and since 2000 at WMBS in Uniontown. John and his wife Lynn hosted the popular "Polish Melodies" program on WMBS in Uniontown, PA until his sudden passing in 2023. John and Lynn also took Polish Melodies on the road to various events in Southwestern Pennsylvania! John will be greatly missed in the Polka field, and we will always be greatful for his contributions!
